Is the week Thanksgiving????

OH my I just realized I have not posted since Halloween!!! WHAT??? Is this week really Thanksgiving?? Where does the time go????? We have had a fun and busy month! My friend Tania from college came to visit for a weekend which was great! We have taken the boys to see a few movies and they have both loved them!! Parker loves going to the movies and he sits still and quite the whole time!!! This week we have a busy week lots to look forward to!! We are spending some time on Wed. with our old neighbors and we are so excited about that, we miss them so much!! Thursday we will spend the day with Eric's family and then Friday we are going up to visit his grandparents up in Blairsville!! Sat., my sister is passing through and I am looking forward to getting to see her even if it is only for a short bit!!! Sunday, a little rest a relaxation and that about covers our Thanksgiving holiday!!!
We already put up our Christmas stuff and we are loving it!! I normally do it the weekend after Thanksgiving but since we have a packed week we thought we would get a early start! So here I sit in front of my tree as I type this post and I just love Christmas!!!
Every night at dinner I have had my kids tell me something they are thankful for and we are making it into a craft which we will finish on Thanksgiving, it has been so good for them as well as for Eric and I! I encourage you all to stop and think of all the things you have to be thankful for!! I know times are hard for so many right now and the economy has seen better days but the Lord is still good and he has blessed our lives so much!! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgivng!!
I promise for those of you that have hung in there and still check my blog, thanks and I will not wait so long to post next time!!

I'm so glad you updated! I love your idea about asking the boys something they are thankful for every day. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving! You've inspired me to get our Christmas decorations up early too!

I,too, have my Christmas decorations up. If I'm going to work that hard on something, I want to enjoy it as long as possible! I like the way your blog post focused on God. He IS good... even when times are hard. Sometimes I think it's his mercy that allows difficulties just so we look to Him for help... otherwise we think we don't need Him.
