Is the week Thanksgiving????

OH my I just realized I have not posted since Halloween!!! WHAT??? Is this week really Thanksgiving?? Where does the time go????? We have had a fun and busy month! My friend Tania from college came to visit for a weekend which was great! We have taken the boys to see a few movies and they have both loved them!! Parker loves going to the movies and he sits still and quite the whole time!!! This week we have a busy week lots to look forward to!! We are spending some time on Wed. with our old neighbors and we are so excited about that, we miss them so much!! Thursday we will spend the day with Eric's family and then Friday we are going up to visit his grandparents up in Blairsville!! Sat., my sister is passing through and I am looking forward to getting to see her even if it is only for a short bit!!! Sunday, a little rest a relaxation and that about covers our Thanksgiving holiday!!!
We already put up our Christmas stuff and we are loving it!! I normally do it the weekend after Thanksgiving but since we have a packed week we thought we would get a early start! So here I sit in front of my tree as I type this post and I just love Christmas!!!
Every night at dinner I have had my kids tell me something they are thankful for and we are making it into a craft which we will finish on Thanksgiving, it has been so good for them as well as for Eric and I! I encourage you all to stop and think of all the things you have to be thankful for!! I know times are hard for so many right now and the economy has seen better days but the Lord is still good and he has blessed our lives so much!! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgivng!!
I promise for those of you that have hung in there and still check my blog, thanks and I will not wait so long to post next time!!

Trick or Treat!!!!!!

These pictures uploaded in the wrong order but this is Parker as the end of the night!! He had so much fun!! He loved it and would even say"trick or treat" at each door then would say "tank you, b-y-e" so precious! My little pirate!
Here I am with my little pirate right before we started out! At first he did not want to wear his costume, the only way I could get him in it was to tell him that he would get to ride in the wagon, with that he was trying to put the costume on himself!! It amazes me with these little ones, they can be loosing it one minute and if you say just the right thing to get their attention they can get it together in a second, if you say the wrong thing, the fit can continue for a while!!!

Here is my little "HOOK"!! I know he is my kid but he looked adorable! this costume was just too cute! I could not believe he even let us do his mustache and it just looked perfect!!! He is giving me his mean "Hook" look in this picture!

Like Father Like Son!!!! Double trouble!! They are too cute!

CHEEEEEESE!!!! He knew he looked cute and was just so proud of that whole costume!!
It was such a fun night! This was the first year that I actually got to go with the boys and watch them trick or treat! In the years past I would stay here with Eric's mom and I would hand out candy! Well, this year I just had to be a part of it. I said I was only going to go to a few houses but once I got out there I was having so much fun watching them I could not come home till we were finished! I loved watching both of them! Caleb made sure at each house he did not get any candy that had peanut butter in it and Parker did not care he just wanted to take hand fulls at each house! We went to one house that was handing out large bags of M&M's and Caleb was so excited! Hope you all had a fun and Safe halloween!
