Recently at our house . . .

I thought this was cute, we were at a restuarant the other night and I took this of the boys, Parker watches everything his brother does, it is just so sweet!

So we all know that Peter Pan and Captain Hook are favorites around here, well my mom found a 10 inch captain hook and sent it to Caleb and Parker today, it is awesome and was such a big deal when they opened the box. the only problem was, there is one hook and two little boys sitting there and neither of them can get their hands on it fast enough.

Well, here you see who ended up with it . . . but not for long Hook is now fast asleep with Caleb!

A few weeks ago my dear friend Mandy flew in from England, she had such a crazy schedule while she was here but we were able to have breakfast and suprise out friend Emmy for her birthday, it was a fun morning! Mandy it had been a year, I am so glad I got to see you!

Our nephew had a bowling party and here is a picture of Eric helping Parker learn how to bowl, it was so sweet. Parker loved it and I thought this picture was precious, one of the many moments where Eric will lean down and teach our sweet boys a thing or two!

So right before we left for Tahoe we were having a fun family day and we decided to build our first fort, here it is . . . Eric did a great job on it and the boys had so much fun playing in it!!

Every now and then this big crocodile (that is what the boys pretend it is) comes out and attacks the kids when they are playing. I love these moments and there is nothing like the giggle that they let out at moments like these!!

Well, Caleb realized recently that he loves corn on the cob!! It is amazing once you get them to try something how much they love it!

Our Trip

Hi!!! Eric and I are back from our trip to Tahoe!! We had a wonderful time!! It was such a short trip but it was a great get away! I read a whole book in two days which was awesome! It is not very often I get to do that!! Eric's client sent ME to the spa and I got a hot stone massage . . . INCREDIBLE!! Eric and I got to lay by the pool together and have yummy drinks, we went on a dinner cruise out on the lake, and we had a lobster clam bake on the lake the last night!! It was truly an amazing trip!! It was so sweet of my mom to come and keep the kids, they were great for her and of course they were so excited when we drove up on Friday afternoon! This week we are getting ready for Caleb to start school next week and of course we are getting ready for the start of Georgia Bulldog Football, tis the season :)!!! I got to go last night to meet Caleb's teacher at school and I love her!! I got the teacher that I had requested so I was very happy about that! I am so excited about what he is going to learn this year! He starts taking spanish which should be interesting! We go tomorrow for him to see his classroom and for him to meet his teacher. He is excited his friend Blake is in his class! We are looking forward to a long weekend together as a family, I think we may go to the zoo on Monday Caleb is hoping to see a crocodile!!! Well, I have tons of pictures to post soon, none of Tahoe, I am sorry to say I forgot my camera and did not get to have one picture of that amazing place!! Very sad!!! I guess that means I have to go back next year when he has this meeting! Parker is going to be so sad next week when Caleb is gone for 3 mornings out of the week!! It will give the two of us some great time together though! We never get that!! That is it for now . . . I will get those pictures posted soon!

Ok so today Eric's parents were supposed to come over! Well, Caleb waited by the door for an hour waiting on them to get here and this is what finally happened after the waiting must have seemed like forever to a 3 year old!!

Hello

Hi everyone! Not much been going on here so sorry I have not blogged! For those of you who still check everyday I just thought I would leave a quick post so you did not think I had forgotten, there just has not been anything exciting going on. Well, I take that back everyday is exciting with these two little ones but nothing really blog worthy, just another day in the fun and crazy life here. I am just having such a great time watching these boys grow. Man time goes by quickly. I can't believe summer is pretty much gone. Caleb will be starting back to school the week after Labor day. I don't know what Parker and I will do three mornings a week with out him around.

I guess something exciting to share is that this week we made the move to sleeping with big boy underpants on so no more pull ups for Caleb. He kept telling me he did not need them to sleep in anymore so we just did it. So far so good, I have not had to change sheets in the middle of the night. I am so proud of him.

Parker is a little mess, into everything and trying to say everything he hears you say. But man when he gets excited about something he starts talking so fast in some crazy talk that no one but Parker understands. It is so funny to hear! A language of his own I guess. He is so sweet and so loving! Both of them are really! Caleb is doing such a great job with his manners!

ok, so I just had to post this picture!! I thought it was so cute!! Last night for bath I let Caleb put in the bubbles, well he put in just a bit too much and Eric filled it really high with water well, put the two together and this is what you get!! It was so cute though! Parker was on the verge of being under water!!
