REMIND ME NEVER TO MOVE AGAIN!!!

Well, we are all moved and settled for the most part. We have maybe 4 boxes left and the only reason they are not unpacked is because it is junk and I don't know what to do with it! So the fun began on Wed. the packers came and packed my whole house and when I say whole house I mean it literally! Let me just say . . . if you are ever moving . . . get packers, it was worth the money, I just wish they could have unpacked me. I could not believe some of the things that they actually packed. My mom was here and they even packed the sheets on her bed so of course she had to sleep with no sheets for two nights. My sweet friend Melissa finally insisted and brought some over for her to use. So we had to wait until Friday for the movers to come and with that said, they even packed the toilet paper and it was MIA for several days, NOT GOOD!!!! Thursday was closing day and the day that the blinds were installed, furniture was delievered etc. Then Thursday night my sweet Caleb had his first school program. Okay, so lets get away from the talk of the move for a min. and focus on this. So we send Eric's family an hour before showtime to make sure we get the perfect seats for the big performance. We follow behind and finally arrive and the show begins. I was so nervous for him. That big stage had to be scary. So his class comes out. They were performing four songs. Caleb finds his place on stage and begins putting both fingers in his nose, I almost died!! I sat there saying to myself and my mom "get your fingers out of your nose" I could not believe it, doesn't he know we tell him all the time not to do that? I don't understand!!! So he finally is done with the picking and begins pulling his shirt up to show everyone his belly! FINALLY, he spots us in the audience, he smiles so big and starts waving! SO CUTE!! Then he remembered what he was there for and began joining the rest of his class in song. THey were singing four songs and then had three songs for the finale, and let me tell you by the end of song number 2, he was DONE!!!!! He stood there with his arms folded in front of him with a look of disgust while his other friends sang wonderful songs about how much Jesus loves them!!! It was great! Entertaining of course!! I was proud of him!
Back to the move, so Friday the movers came and we worked and worked and worked!! I could not have done it without my poor mom. She worked herself till she could not work anymore! By Sunday morning all but 10 boxes were unpacked and in a spot. I am going to include some pictures, I had to send some pictures of my dining room which is my favorite room! I have not done my bookshelves yet, I just have things sitting on it so excuse that in pictures. I am waiting for my friend Shanna to come help me hang all of my pictures. So we still have a lot to do but at least there are not boxes laying around to step over. Well, I know this is a long post . . . sorry! Till next time . . .

Garage Sale!!

Well, I made it through my first garage sale this past weekend! Eric thought I was crazy to do it, it is so much work, more than I realized or I may have not done it. It was great though because my friends Jennifer and Shanna came and brought some of their stuff and we did it together. That made it much more fun. I worked so hard all day on Friday trying to clean out every closet and room in my house so that I could get rid of any junk I did not want to take to the new house. I worked until 11p.m. on it and then my alarm sounded at 6:15 on Sat. morning, it was time . . . All items were priced and set and we were ready to go. It had been storming really bad Friday night and was supposed to be raining Sat. morning. I rushed downstairs to see for myself if Mr. Weather Man got it right (normally he doesn't)! It looked ok! So, garage doors went up, the other girls unloaded their stuff and we sat (eating cinnamon rolls and drinking coffee) and waited looking over all of our wonderful stuff that we had (so we thought) priced so fair. Let me just say, it was nice to have that hot cup of coffee, my morning usually consists of a sip between changing a diaper, helping one go to the potty, feeding two little sweet boys etc. I won't drag this out any longer but it was obvious this was my first garage sale because at about 11 (our first customer come around 9) and yes, it rained off and on that morning, it was time to do markdowns, the stuff was just not selling! I could not believe it!! I was amazing at what was selling, the cool stuff no one wanted!! In the end I made a pretty good amount of money all which will be spent in minutes for the new house!
So the count down is on, one week from today we will own a new home!!! I can't wait!! Our new appliances got put in yesterday they look amazing!! Anyway, can't wait for the big house warming party!!! Well, I will try to post again before the big move but can't make any promises! I have so much to do!! Thanks for reading!!

Well, here are a few pictures of the boys! In picture one I thought you may enjoy Caleb's hair, he got his hands on the gel that day and decided he wanted to style his own hair, NOT BAD!!! In picture number two, Parker in his favorite place, the pantry! He could not reach the oreos so he settled for a few goldfish! He is a mess, his new thing is to say "UH O SPAGHETTI O"S" if I knew how to record it and put it on here I would it is the cutest thing ever when he says it! He is hilarious these days! He loves having sword fights with Caleb, finally someone other than Eric and I to have sword fights. He walks around with his sword saying "DAAA DAAAA . . ." He can sure keep up with his brother. They are so much fun!

Well, the count down is on for the big move!! Two and a half weeks till move day!!! We are so excited, we can't stand it. We go to the house several times a week and just get so excited every time. Caleb keeps asking if we are moving today to our new house. He is excited about it and loves his new room! Well, we will keep you all posted, those of you who still read this thing. Thanks to those of you who leave comments, it makes me feel like I am not just talking for the fun of it!

OH, and my new thing, I know, most of you will wonder why I am just finding out about this but I am the biggest fan of craigs list now!! I posted my dining room set on there last Thursday, well, it sold the same day and the girl came on Sunday with CASH (which was spent on a new set before she even got here) and a Uhaul and loaded it up! I could not believe it and I even got what I wanted for it!! It was awesome! Now I keep wondering what else I could put on there! Now I am just using that room to load up boxes!!

I think they turned out pretty good, we took them during Parker's naptime so he was not very happy after the first few pictures. It ended up being a rainy day so we were trying to beat the rain!
